So much for my winter buying freeze!

Got an email from American Eagle Outfitters about their 50% off clearance prices. Oh jeepers... I had to click on the link. Then I had to buy joggers. I just have the one pair of men's sweatpants that I french roll the bottoms into cuffs. Could I survive with said sweatpants? Undoubtedly yes. Do I want to survive with one pair? No. I want to give up ever pair of denim jeans I own for jogger pants.

The chambray denim joggers are so 1980s/90s -- and I had completely sworn off 90s fashions because I think most of it just terrible (to my eye). But I when I saw these they seemed so perfect for spring weather, paired with chic modern shoes and a sweet blouse. I know I should wait for spring to actually do spring shopping. But these joggers called my name. So I bought them.

Fitting into my 2015 goals... I LOVE the chambray joggers at first sight. They don't necessarily fit into my style descriptors of glamorous. (They seem a bit...romantic tomboy?) But I love them, and that is my first and foremost goal this year. Either love it enough to wear it to tatters or I don't buy it. This winter I'm falling in love with joggers and more fluid, tailored fit items. I still have a couple pairs of skinny jeans. But mostly, I'm over them and ready for a slightly relaxed silhouettes and more "flow" and drape to my clothes. Plus, Angie is right: track pants and joggers really fit my lower body curves like a dream. I feel so beautiful and happy in them.

I'm not in love with the fleece joggers. But they seemed more "glam" and in line with my style descriptors. The shoes...I've been wanting a leopard pair of flats for ages. I like the pointier toe and d'orsay vamp. Feeling a bit "eh" about them. But we'll see what happens when I get to try it all on.

Whatcha all think??
