Here are a few items I have bought recently--I have been in a shopping mood.
1. A heart crossbody purse--Macy's. On great sale, and I snapped it up emotionally like I was at an auction. So of course, when I got it, it can't fit my passport (what I use for ID), or my phone! But if I have an understanding friend with a pocket, it works.
It has a key clasp (goes on the inside). As if your keys will get lost in there. (lol)
2. My cowboy boots, which I cannot remember if I shared. I love the chain detail, which pushes it into country rock territory.
3. Basic brown flats--I have been wanting pointy flats for a long time.
4. Secondhand Reebok high tops--not the classic style I have been pining for, but these are loud, and adult enough for a woman.
5. Fluffy secondhand sweater, in a cool baby pink with cable detail.
6. Secondhand choker. I love chokers, especially fun ones. They are better when styled deliberately, like with a fun dress or 90s flannel, or whatever.
7 and 8. "Muscle" tee--racerback style in a very nostalgic feel for me--a distinct lavender (shows better in person) that I remember from independent shops in my hometown, and a great mountain graphic indicating the company--Mammut. Reminds me of all the people I used to know who spent their weekends in a tent and a headlamp--rain, shine or snowstorm.
