well i'm no fashionista, but i bought some cognac booties that i love from aldo - affordable and just the right heel to add height but be easy to walk in for the school run. here's the link:

Oh, without a doubt - THE handbag - Rae's discovery, I copied - "Precious." Its a game-changer in my wardrobe. I've become a one-handbag woman since it arrived at my house about a month ago. It goes with me everywhere!

Awesome footwear -- Glory, I have booties like those from Naturalizer from last year that I have worn almost into the ground. I LOVE them! TorontoGirl and Susie, love your booties, too. I just picked up heeled black booties from the Cole-Haan outlet near my home and am very excited about them!
The dresses! -- Ruth, your dress is so much like my original dream dress! I ended up with a pink floral for my birthday. Yours is really lovely, love how it nips in at the waist. Same with yours, Lyn. Great shape.
WIsh I could see your trench, alaskagirl, especially after seeing your boot collection! I'm sure it's reliable and fashionable. Marmot is such a great brand. Sylvie, Marley, and Mo -- I am hoping to find one piece (at least) that I love/use as much as your top/bag/jeans. That bag, Marley! I have not yet recovered from my first sight of it in one of Rae's posts.
It's so funny how other people's scores are so inspiring. I am definitely one of those people who needs to know what everyone else is ordering at dinner before I can make up my mind.

I haven't really started wearing many of my fall items yet. Even though I live in Canada. So far my Munro booties (just like Thistle's) are pretty high on the list of best buys. Plus the David Meister dress shown here, even though I haven't yet had an opportunity to wear it.

Also, my grey silk and cotton sweatshirt from Zara, and the navy booties from there (even though they give me blisters!)

Fall is barely starting here (we are excited that this week the highs are only in the 90s!). But I know my denim jacket (Style & Co. brand from Macy's) will be worn a lot this fall/winter. I also ordered that Gap pink camo utility jacket; it should come next week, and I'm hopeful it will work out well. And I just got some awesome, soft black suede ankle booties (Zigi Soho from the Rack) that I am really eager to wear with my skinny pants and jeans, and with tights and casual dresses/skirts.

It's hard to say because the new season hasn't actually STARTED yet! We've had a few days that have been cooler, and the nights are getting cool, but I haven't really put fall items into use yet. I have new things I am excited to try (and hopefully figure out my camera timer to post WIWs), but haven't been able to wear them yet. Today's temperature was 82* F, so still summer temps. I am most excited to wear new moto boots and a leather jacket.

I'd have to say my running shoes have been my best purchase. Working out has helped take off some of the fluff around my midriff so I feel better in my clothes. Other than that, I haven't bought much this season. I'd like trousers in different silhouettes than the ones that fill my closet, a pair of brown shoes and a military style jacket. I think I need to go shopping with you!
