What do you wear to a T-Ball game?

Hey moms and fashionistas!!!

Need a little help here today, silly question: What to wear to a T-Ball game? We are talking 5-yr-olds playing on a dirt/grass field. I am predicting to be standing around perhaps chasing my 2.5yr old! Anyhoo, what is the attire I should be going for? I don't want to appear "over-done," yet want to look cute and stylish. Also what kind of footwear.

Thanks for helping me out with some examples.

I tend to wear bermudas and a knit top to these kind of events. I don't like to be overdressed for soccer games especially when I'm sitting around in a lawn chair. I usually wear some kind of sneaker-like flat or flat/wedge sandals to navigate the uneven grass. I usually only wear nice ballet flats if we have bleacher seating.

I'm with Kelly - I'm usually in jeans or shorts and a t-shirt/knit top and cons when I go to t-ball games - gotta be comfortable and casual, especially since I usually end up filling in as first-base coach, helping kids with batting helmets, and otherwise herding kids in the right direction around the bases. Those baseball diamonds are *dirty*.

HAVE FUN! I love t-ball. I think it's some of the best entertainment out there, especially when a kid gets to first base and just keeps running in a random direction into the outfield and beyond. Or when the entire outfield chases after the ball like it's a fumble recovery and then whoever comes up with the ball is so proud and has no idea what to do next. Oh, don't get me started...it's the best!

I'm not a MOTG but I am a g-gotg and I love, love watching my 5 yr/old great-grandson play t-ball!! I'm facinated by their concept of the game ;o}. Anyway, I wore skinny blue jeans and a plaid oversized shirt last Monday and I fit rght in with the crowd.

Depending on the weather, I would wear bootcut jeans with a fashion sneaker (cons, Vans, etc.), graphic tee and a cardigan or jacket. If it's warm enough for shorts, I would change the footwear to a cute sandal that's easy to run around in.

Usually bermudas, clams or jeans with wovens or fancier tees. Sandals or ballet flats.

Here's two recent outfits that I wore to my daughter's (7 yrs.) softball games.

How adorable you look AJ!!! Yeah, I figured it was something along those lines. I just don't want to look overdone! As we have discussed before on the forum, most often then not, many moms just show up in sweats or *gasp* mom jeans. I don't want anyone hatin' on me because I dressed up!!! (Sequin??? Hmmmm)
