I like these pants a lot. But I am not sure about them. Are they too edgy for a 49 year old ?

This is waaaaaayyyyyyyy beyond my normal style. I don't know why I am so attracted to them.

You had me worried. I was expecting something crazy--these look like great pants. I would totally wear them and I'm closer to 50 than 40 these days! Try them out!

I clicked on your link with trepidation. Just what could possibly be lurking there? Some sort of catwalk-only fashion?

But no..........These are definitely not too edgy. The seem to be to be a nice, easy trouser, with a elasticized hem. I think they're cute. The only drawback I see is that they might shorten the leg line a bit, and it could take some trial and error to find the right size.

We're moving into softer, looser trousers in general, I think. This strikes me as a wonderful, mainstream look.

I say go for them--they are just edgy enough to make an interesting look, but not too far over the edge. I like them, I can even imagine myself trying them on to see how they look.

Glad to hear you are getting them Isabel. I got the pants below (the fabric is also a type of twill) last summer and I have never looked back - and FWIW I am entering my seventh decade. BTW, elastic cuff pants look especially fab with any footwear that comes up to the ankle e.g. gladiator style sandals.

I like these, I don't think they are too over the top. Just a classic color styled with a twist because of the elastic hemline.

Oh, I like them very much, and I'm 47. Not too edgy for our age group at all. I would say, just the right amount of edge. And they look like they would be easy to dress up or down.

I have a couple pair from a few seasons ago with a similar silhouette, but with lots of pockets. I still love those. I think these that you posted are a more refined version.
