What do you think of this raincoat?

I would really like a cream trench, one that has a lining so it can be worn in cool Fall weather, but keep striking out. I did see this coat at Anthro today, did not buy it, but what do you think?

It fit me perfectly, flattered my figure, and it was very ....charming. I think that word is perfect. It is well made, and lined so it is warm. It is rainproof. The sleeve length doesn't bug me because I would just wear long gloves. But, ultimately, I passed because I (think) I want something more classic. I don't mind making a statement but, this felt a bit over the top?

Shiny - I like this coat and can really picture it on you. I can understand wanting a classic trench, but this seems like an au courant alternative - can you say more on what about it seemed over the top to you? I can see that it is very... ladylike. Were you hoping for something more "powerful" and less girly?

I also can totally see you in the coat, shiny! I love the cut and style, and I don't think the ruffles are too obvious. The ruffles and collar really add to the charm of this coat.

Cute, I can see you in this. Last summer and this, Zara has been filled with white trenches during the summer months. I bought a killer jacket there last year. If you have one locally, you might want to check them out.
