What do you think of this crazy jacket?

I looked and looked for a fake fur vest, but eventually gave up. Today I was at the Patagonia outlet store and found this jacket. It feels fabulous. Do you think it looks good? I haven't cut the tags. The truth is, I don't need it. Please be honest. Thanks!

I would use it for lounge wear on cold days . It looks great with slippers.

I think it would be fine to wear out in public and did not mean to imply that it wouldn't. I was influenced by your nice warm fleece-lined slippers.
Apres ski capsule?

I think it's actually quite fashion forward. Not modern classic in and of itself.

I think it would be a go-to comfort piece for me, for lounging or out in public for casual events. It just looks like a great big hug from a giant teddy bear

I would wear that in public. In fact, I would probably save it for public wear because I suspect it would attract the dirt at home. (My dog would only have to look at me.) I see it with a light coloured turtleneck layered underneath and boots!

I had a version of that jacket several years ago, and I eventually passed it on because I found the length too short.

I'm drawn to fuzzy fleecy things in winter too and I've tried on furry jackets.
The problem I have with this type of item is it's kinda neither this nor that. For me, it's not sharp enough to be what I want to wear out, style- wise. I need more structure and different kind of plush. And for home I may need a different weight or cut or length for lounging.

I love fuzzy fleecy things in winter too. I am actually trying to wean myself off them. I would wear something like that at home and not out unless I was walking my dog. But I would not buy something that colour. Dirt attacks me.
But it is very comfy and nice looking. And as Joy says it has a apres ski look.
