I am trying to figure out if these would just be another "placeholder" purchase. I have been wanting tall, classic Hunters forever, and have already gone through a pair of cheaper substitutes that I currently hate and are also hurting my feet. But having finally given myself permission to splurge on the Hunters, I'm finding that nothing available is really truly singing to me to spend the $200 (with tax etc). And I really do need rain boots for my lifestyle, I still reach for the awful ones often. But for how much longer this season, until I need snow boots?
