What do you think of these " pants?

I haven't seen anything quite like these Anthro pants before, with the split front hems. Puts me in mind of the Robyn bootie, perhaps leg- lengthening. Don't think I have the lifestyle/ occasions for them but would Like to see them on a " real" person!

I don't mind the look while standing, but I wonder how far up the leg they would split when sitting.

I think they are cute...for someone who is not me! Sort of like harem pants, maybe not a look for everyone.

I just bought a pair of pants that are a similar design. The ones I got are full length and wider at the hems. They look kind of like a skirt more than pants. I'll have to take a photo in them.

I'm not sure, but I think I like them. There seem to be a lot of skirt/pants hybrids around at the moment and this seem to fit into that category. Like you, I would like to see them in motion.

I love the look. I was about to purchase a similar pair yesterday thank goodness I tried them on. Standing still beautiful walking I would need something under neath. I say try them on and walk in them see how high the opening is and don't forget to sit.

I kinda love them. I am intrigued. With my body shape, they seem to me like they could either be really good or horribly unflattering, I just can't tell which.

I really like them. Anthro had a pair in a similar silhouette that I tried last year. The fit at the waist was off so I didn't buy them but I really liked the leg. It's like a culottes/harem pants hybrid.

They're a more streamlined version of harem pants but I just can not get around the diaper-y look of so much extra fabric.There's something very practical and breezy about the idea of this style of pants but the reality always looks heavy to me.
I disappoint myself with my own narrow mindedness.

Pair them with a tube top or halter and a vest and you have a modern Barbara Eden....

I really like these and would wear them just as the model is. She looks party ready. I love the split. It's just the kind of distinguishing detail that makes you look a cut above the flavor of the day, which is wide crop.

Ok, I tried them on in store today and didn't take pics, but suffice to say that these do no favors to this short-waisted, full-hipped person. Perhaps you luckier ladies would fare better. The small pleats at the hip go all the way around (why????) and result in a rather full look. Perhaps not great for the pear-ish.

Ha! Thanks, Janet. I have not tried them. Pleating all around is no bueno.
Also it does appear that sitting would look a lot different than standing and lose the elongation factor.
I will spend my energy trying to get more wears out of my culottes!

These don't seem too leg-flattering. The split hits at the calf which gives a widening effect - though that would vary depending on one's height.
