I totally love them.

I have sent my Doc Saras off to a YLF friend, and am looking for something slightly more refined to replace them with. These do not quite fit the bill and are not in my size, but I would LOVE to see them on you!

Suz, this is exactly it - I am not sure if this style will work for me at all, I have never owned rugged boots like this...but I likes the juxtaposition of a tough looking boot with the refinement of brogue detailing and white / black color scheme.

I think they are fabulous! But I think it would be wise to think through how and what you would wear them with. I can see these working with some pants, ie. jeans, skinny pants and of course you could wear a wider leg over them. I am not sure I see them working with skirts, but if you did it would be a somewhat different look for. If they are returnable, it wouldn't hurt to try them out.

They are very Rae or Una. They would not fit into my wardrobe because of their ruggedness. I do not have anything to wear with them. Do you?

Honestly I have not found many oxfords that I love, but I love these! The boot style, the color blocking, wing tip, shape, and solid Doc sole are gorgeous. I just looked up more info on Docs and saw that they are slip resistant too. I may just have to get a pair for work for myself.

I like the idea of them, and the details, but I reserve judgement until seen in outfit context. I do love Docs, but they are solid statement shoes, a bit clunky (just because they are made so solidly) and could easily slip into clown territory on those of us with larger feet.
Denise - I waitressed for years in my Docs, best support ever and the no slip was key.

Why Sveta? Why did you have to show these? You know I have a Docs weakness (akin to my Danier condition)!

These are gorgeous - Docs version of sleek. Do you have a local store that carries Docs? They do fit differently from most footwear so you would want to try on. I could see these with many of your trousers and with black skirts or dresses - what about under white jeans?

Oh dear....now I have a SERIOUS case of the wants!

I vote try. Keep this in mind, though: Docs need to be broken in. There may be blisters involved. I haven't owned a pair since my twenties, but they were a staple for that decade, and every pair I ever had needed a week or two of breaking in. Unless things have changed since then, you may have to suffer a little at first.

They are so fab! I think they might be a bit tricky to style with skirts, but then I could easily be surprised. They are probably streching your style envelope a bit, but I think you can pull them off, and that they will look great with your stylish outfits.

Happy to see they are getting some love here, so I was not completely insane. If I had an easy way to get them from Zappos I would try them - but they do not ship to Canada...:-(
Shannon, do you know any Canadian stores which carry Docs? If I go through the ain of ordering from US I at least want to know about the sizing...
Actually I suspect they are male boots because sizing starts from size 8...but I like them anyway.

They might be new -- they will probably show up on Dr Martens Canada soon. I remember when Diana got her Clemency boots I couldn't find them in Canada but a couple months later they are on the site.

For all of us who love rugged footwear, they certainly look interesting. I would try them with slim jeans tucked in I think.
