I picked one up today (note: $108 merino sweaters on sale for about $30, super soft, even I can wear them!) when I was at the store, and I leafed through it while in the cash desk queue. I have to say, it's one of the worst look-books I've ever seen them put out. Almost nothing appealed to me. Admittedly, it's partly because I'm not a fan of Easter egg colours, which were everywhere (and that's a personal thing; there is nothing inherently wrong with pastels, of course), but I thought they made all the models look gawky and badly-proportioned. And J. Crew normally does such a good job of making preppy seem like the most desirable aesthetic on Earth!

Maybe I'm just a negative creep today, but has anyone else seen the catalogue?
