...that DSW will find the missing size 8 boot from a mismatched 8 / 8.5 pair in the clearance section?

Anyway, I tried on a fab pair of UWP/cowboy spat boots at DSW, and only realized when the lady at the register checked that they were a mismatched pair ... doh! Anyway, they could not find the other size 8 shoe anywhere in the store, so I had to leave without them. They are supposed to call if they find it, but I am not hopeful.

They are these, if anyone is interested (super comfy!); I may break down and order them if DSW can't find the missing shoe, but the DSW price was way, way better. Sigh...

On the bright side, I did manage to snag a real leather satchel (also at DSW) for 30 bucks!
