To be completely honest... I adore them! I personally am trying to wear nothing higher than 2.5, but if you can handle the heel, I love the color and the cut or the shoe. The color looks great with your skin tone.

So I have this other pair that my bro & his friends thought looked like "hooker boots" so that's what we call them.
Then when I opened these he said these were even more so & the brand name was "Bordello" which means "whorehouse" haha thought it was kinda funny
But I love'em:$

I'm going to be a mom here and say I don't think those are age appropriate. Didn't you just graduate from 8th grade? Where would you wear shoes like that?

Who gave those to you? They are pretty, but I wouldn't let my daughter out of the house with them on. You don't want the boys to get the wrong idea!

Hi, Con Con, Merry Christmas! I'm glad you got a gift that makes you happy. Do be careful in them, though. I know that this type of shoe is really wild and fun!

As I have discovered, the reality of shoes like this can be not-so-fun and there's nothing less chic than being in unendurable pain and not being able to walk (let alone dance) when you're supposed to be looking your best and having fun.

You also want to make sure that you are appropriate for the occasion, otherwise you could come across as awkward rather than awesome. Sometimes this is really hard to figure out, even when you have lots of experience dressing for various occasions!

Good luck with the shoes, and I'm glad they are making you happy.

Pretty colors, but way too high to look classy. There's a reason the brand is called "Bordello." Not age appropriate at all.

I like what Jenava said about wanting to look awesome but possibly looking awkward in shoes that are not easy to feel comfortable walking in. How do you feel when you walk around the house in these shoes? When you get out in public on outdoor terrain it may be a struggle to get around. I'm sure you wouldn't want to be left behind the crowd because you couldn't keep up the pace in these shoes. They are sparkly but not good enough to keep a girl from being able to join the crowd. I also think this sort of "stripper shoe" looks wrong on a girl your age. It's debatable if they look good on a woman of any age.

What a beautiful colour. I do have to agree with much of what San and jenava say though. They are very high and you will need to be *very* careful how you walk in them to avoid a broken ankle! Also beware what you wear them with, no high hem lines or low cut tops you don't want to look like a teen lady of the night!! X

I sat on this for a few days, but since we've all had our stuff critiqued negatively at one point or another here, I have to say that I really dislike these shoes for aesthetic as well as symbolic reasons ( the sex-worker associations are part of that). People out in the world are judgmental, and if you don't care, that's absolutely fine, obviously. And I do appreciate edgy lingerie and shoes, and the very intentional messages they send out (as well as the gorgeous design they're capable of possessing). Sorry, but you did ask for opinions.

That is still pretty high. Save them for very very special occasions, and take to heart some of the advice the ladies have given you. No short hemlines and wear clean simple lines to balance off the color and cut of the shoe. And take a pair of foldable ballet slippers with you because your feet will hurt.
