What do you sleep in?

Okay, not a Chanel No 5 type question! I'm not asking for TMI.

My last sleeping tank got ruined with ink from my allergy testing. I need a replacement asap. Where should I look besides Nordstrom, which had surprisingly little? I really want a simple cotton or some kind of jersey material tank top, but about 2 sizes bigger than I would wear as a camisole. A step up from a men's undershirt, but nothing lingerie-ish. This is in my basket...something like this.

Anyone have anything great?

Most of mine are old American Apparel tank tops. All-cotton, US-made, lots of colors, and go on sale for cheap - like $2 - 5.

If I were going to run out and buy something new right now, it would probably be from Pact Organic. Great prices on organic/fair trade cotton basics:

Not something I sleep in but I like Target cotton tanks, very inexpensive, lots of colors that keep changing, and are fairly long. I wear some sort of cotton or silk tank as an under layer almost daily and these are favorites.

I have several of these from Urban Outfitters house brand Truly Madly Deeply. Very soft, no holes, and have lasted longer than my other tees. Not a tank though, and quite oversized. I'm more likely to wear these during the warmer months, I have sweatshirts for the really cold weather.

I love old-school over-sized plaid pajamas. If you live anywhere near Primark, I recommend you go there. Pajamas and basics are the only things I shop from there, but I'm surprised at quality of my latest buy!

Another vote for Target tanks. Very soft, inexpensive, lots of colors. They also have nice sleep shorts and pj bottoms.

Personally I like the flannel Charter Club pj's from Macy's. They should be on sale right now.

Target is great for sleepwear and I've found that the quality is better than some of the brands Nordstrom carries (PJ Salvage, I'm looking at you). Give Tarjay a look!

I have to have long sleeves on my sleeping tops, even in the summer. I wear tops from Lands' End. They have tank tops too and the quality is really good.

I started wearing a GAP maternity tanks when I was pregnant for both layering and to sleep at night. I still wear them. They are so comfortable and do not look maternity.

My favourite sleep tee is a beautiful crew neck navy Vince tee (oversized) inherited from the YLF sisterhood -- it first was CocoLion's (Denise's) and then Sarah in Minnesota's, and then it devolved to me. It is wearing incredibly well and is so soft!!

In summer I also wear linen tees from J. Crew that have been demoted due to laundry mishaps or a slightly "off" cut.

For bottoms I like to wear men's jockey shorts in warm weather but I had a terrible problem this year -- the only ones that Winner's had were Tommy Hilfiger and the bottoms on those are for people with really big bums -- it looks like I have swimmer's bubble butt when I walk around in them. Which probably is too much information.

I am liking Uniqlo's Airism tees for sleeping and they also have tanks. The tees run a bit roomy, so it you are looking for loose, they may be true to size.
