What didn't you buy recently?

What have you decided against in the last couple of weeks? Not things you skimmed right past because they clearly were wrong for you, but things you tried and seriously considered, but decided to pass on?

The colors were gorgeous and my local AT had my size, but I just don't need a silky dress at the moment.

A whole assortment of Me Too flats. I actually do need flats (OMG, iPhone auto corrected flats to STD...yeah, "I actually do need an STD"). But I wanted to see what NAS has first. Also turned down the Bloomies girlfriend jacket, a bag I found on eBay, and the otk boots I found on eBay (the price ended up too high). I also forgoed a lot of stuff from Boden for the same reason.

I really wanted to get this bag, Longchamp 'Le Pliage - Medium' Expandable Tote, when I was at Nordie's the other day. But I already spent so much I had to walk away.

There are a lot of things I didn't buy recently, but I am still thinking about them. Seems like choosing one thing means I can't have something else. I can't handle the commitment/lost opportunity, so instead I sit back and get nothing. Hmm, now does that make sense?

oh the most significant thing for me is a gorgeous stripey wrap dress I found on sale at a little local store - I loved it, tried it and desperately wanted it to work... but it just didn't fit "quite" right... so it stayed on the hanger...

I'm actually quite proud of myself because in the past I have definitely put my love for something over the reality!

Oh April, that's a pretty dress. My first thought was that KristenKP would look great in those colors -- she's been wearing them this summer.

There was a whole slew of things I *didn't* buy at NAS because I was trying to be selective. This Guess leather topper was one of them:

I've been looking a few Calvin Klein dresses lately. This one was on Ebay and I got in a bidding war, but ultimately decided to let it go. I kind of regret it because it's hard to find in my size at a discount.

Yesterday I was shopping at a sidewalk sale and they had these Simple red canvas shoes. I had been eyeing them all summer. My husband was encouraging me but I decided to pass. I didn't think they were versatile enough and wanted something that could be be casual or dressy.

I had about 4 things picked out at the NAS, but didn't ultimately buy any of them (at least not yet).

I passed on a Michael Kors cobalt bag at TJMaxx this week. Even at a huge discount I wasn't sure I'd love it enough to justify the price.
I've also passed, so far, on the Halogen Chanel-esque jacket at NAS and went for the Hinge one in red. I'd like to have both but don't know that I should get two so similar.
I've been spending quite a bit more than usual on clothing this summer. Now after reading the thread on the BR Martin skinny pants, I want them too and in more than one color. *sigh*

I passed on the red Hinge jacket. It was available in my size when I was placing my order, but I simply could not justify spending money on a jacket that I would not get much wear out of. I am still going back and forth about it in my mind, so I am glad it is out of stock.

I was shopping at Macy's today and decided against a couple of skirts. I left one at the register and didn't buy it, and now I'm kicking myself for not getting the other one I liked! If Macy's shipping wasn't so high, I'd probably order it online:

I really liked the brown color, but I wasn't sure what I'd put with it and didn't want to buy something that I'd have to buy something else to go with. Ugh.

Today I passed on the Taylor dress from Angie's NAS list. It was absolutely lovely and looked great on me (if I may say so), but I figured I won't get enough wear out of it compared to something more sturdy
