What colour layering cami to wear with cream top?

Hi all

My very favourite black tunic top has a hole in it the only one I could get to replace it that is similar is cream (they are apparently getting more short sleeve tunic tops closer to Spring so I can wait!).

It has quite a low scoop neck so needs a cami underneath- suggestions for colour? The top is reasonable see thru (would be decent on it's own with a nude bra but I'd prefer to wear a cami)

Hi Megan -- it might sound ultra-boring, but I like a white or cream cami under a white or cream top. Colors tend to show through, giving an odd "shadow color" through the white fabric but without working the magic of making the white seem less sheer.

If you can post a picture of the tunic (even better, of you wearing the tunic), we can help with suggestions for accessories that would liven it up. Is it compatible with a dramatic necklace, or a scarf? Or maybe a vest/waistcoat?

Megan, sorry to hear about the hole in your favorite tunic. Without seeing the top, I would agree with April and say a white or cream cami underneath.

if the hole is small perhaps you can you wear a black cami underneath it and keep it for errands/dog walking? sounds like you really love it....looking forward to pictures!

I think it's really striking with the white camisole. It highlights your beautiful ivory skin tone. I could also see it with an earthy color, something like taupe or light rust. It might also look good with a clear cool color, like cobalt blue which would also contrast nicely with your dark hair. But a color might look off if it shows through. I really like white the best though!
