What Color Vans slip-ons should I buy?

I have two pairs of Vans classic lace-up sneakers: off white and royal-ish blue, and I want to purchase a pair of slip ons for Spring/Summer. I envision them being worn MOSTLY with casual jeans/boyfriend jeans, khakis---and possibly with a couple of skirts (railroad stripe EF, and chambray EF, full skirts that hit at the knee). I'm all over the place regarding color for the vans, though. I have proportionate-sized feet (size 10). Any ideas for a color that looks sharp? I could go solid---maroon, white, gray, etc., a snakeskin leather, perforated leather, I'm open to all ideas right now! Thanks

I like the white perforated leather or the light snakeskin. I think those would be most versatile for summer.

Red plaid...that I love and wear when I am where the weather is not the Artic...

As a fellow 10, I have an alternative for you to consider. I tried out the Splendid slip ons, below. There is just a lot of plain real estate of a leather upper, in a Vans style slip on. The leather versions have a sheen, which, for me, looks even bigger. I ended up choosing instead to replace my fading light burgundy pull on Converse with a grey version of the find, below. Worth considering!

Thanks, Annabelle! Personally, I'm noticing the same thing you are with the size 10 Vans---they look quite substantial, and I can't really determine if the darker shades or the lighter shades exacerbate the situation. I think something in between (gray? maroon?) might be best. I've been a die-hard wearer of the same converse slip ons you highlighted---a faded red pair, and a faded brown which have served me so WELL over the years. To the point of wearing them OUT. The VANS lace-ups that I have offer great arch support, though, and are more comfortable than the Converse to me, and so I was hoping the slip on VANS would fill in for the slip on Converses. but the look (wide all the way to the toe) is hard for me to adjust to! I'll keep my eyes peeled for the Splendid ones. Do you find them to be supportive/comfortable?

PSA: I saw pseudo-Vans slip-ons in perforated faux leather at Target yesterday. I was heartbroken that they did not have my size.

ETA they have them online so I ordered them and also a cute pair in faux snake! And just for fun I'm showing the black quilted ones I already have and love.
