What clothing search have you put on hold for now?

Now that fall is here I've put a hold on my search for several items that eluded me this past season.....or that I didn't realize I needed until the season was just about over. What I'm looking for come next spring/summer are:

nude cage sandals (or other updated nude sandal)
simple sleeveless sheath dresses for work/teaching
sleeveless patterned blouses to wear with skirts
casual sundresses that aren't too youthful/girly

How about you? Is there anything you still want but have put on the back burner for now (for any reason)?

Like your list, mine is of summer things I want to find next year:

black tank dress
cropped denim jacket
wedge sandals
khaki knee length skirt

Yep. I was looking for a replacement for my beloved green corduroy military jacket that got too big, but fate has intervened and I just don't think there's room in my budget to continue the search at the moment. Ditto cognac boots, the perfect pair of which I've been seeking since last winter.

Mine isn't on hold for weather but rather for my weight. I am finally (!) having some success with weight loss, and as such will not be buying tall boots in the near future. I really want a pair for this season, but can't justify spending the money on a great pair of boots that won't fit at the rate my body is changing.
I know the whole "buy for the body you're in now" strategy is a good one. And usually I follow it. But shoes can be so pricey that I just can't justify it.

I looked all summer for a pair of flat metallic sandals, maybe gladiators. I'll table that and see if I still want them next spring.

Atlantia, I totally understand. I bought knee high boots last fall before I decided to lose weight. They still work, but only over skinnies. I'm having to buy more boots this fall for skirts.

Yep. Slim fitting denim clamdiggers, red sandals. No more summer anything for me, even though it's still in the 90's.

Fun to read these lists! My summer items I wasn't able to get: white skinny jeans, black zippered just-below-the-knee leggings, white dress, striped pumps, camel shorts, olive clams.
