What can I wear with this green lace dress

Hi. I received this dress in a swap a while back. I absolutely love the cute and it fits like a dream. I have found one big problem with it though. I have no idea what to wear it with. I feel like it needs a little more than just a pair of sandals.The green color is a little more olive than in the picture. Thanks!

Edit: I realized I should add that the lace on the dress is a like screenprint, so there isn't an overlay-thing.

Any color of denim jacket will work as that shade of green is almost a neutral. I think a cute wedge sandal would be awesome with it also. Could it also be worn with a long sleeve t and leggings?

ok - this might be too far out, but my inner voice says biker boots or sneakers with the dress. I think it is because I have a slight fear of laces (afraid that I would be trapped in some bad 80's vibe) - not on others, though!

I also like the idea of a white or blue denim jacket. Or perhaps a cropped blazer or another cropped jacket?

And how about trying it with some of the footwear options Angie mentioned in her post last week? I'd love to see it with loafers, flat oxfords, a fun patterned ballet flat, a wedge heel...

This is a really cute dress and I definitely can see it topped with either a white or blue denim jacket. As for shoes, either ballet flats, wedges, booties or oxfords would be playful and Inge's link to Angie's recent blog will give you some great examples.

I agree a denim jacket would look great. You could sweeten it with a cropped shrug and ballet flats. You could toughen it with a moto jacket and combat boots. You could make it casual with cropped leggins.
