I see some of you wearing graphic tees in your posts, and it suddenly hits me as a good look.

They are always something that has "happened" to me, but I never sought out as an element of style. Perhaps I went to a concert, or enjoyed a certain illustrator. Then I might wear that one day, but the rest of the time I wore plain shirts. And I never considered much how the tee design fit in with the rest of the outfit.

I always did like tees that came from concerts, or museum shows, or had some other meaning. I detested the ones sold at big box retailers that said stuff like "summer girl" or "don't talk to me until I have coffee."

Now I see that they all have a purpose, though. Graphic tees, in general, bring...a casualness? Conversation, for the really good ones. As a category, they are much different than regular tees, and I need help figuring out how.

Do you wear them? A lot?
What are your thoughts on these tees?

Bonus question: anyone ever made silkscreen tees for a band?

P.S. This is a category of clothing where I really might splurge, because the designs can be so cerebral. If I went to a Pink Floyd concert and there was a t-shirt for $100 that had a cryptic, alien design, I would get it. But I don't know how much concert tees go for these days--that might be reasonable.
