What brands of pantyhose would you recommend?

Hi all, I love this forum for all the great shopping tips and advice!

I'm now on the hunt for nude pantyhose that are office-appropriate.

There are so many brands out there. I just stood in front of the rack at Macy's for 45 minutes and gave up! Donna Karan's were $20, Calvin Klein's were $15, and there were others that were less, like Hanes, Hue, and Silk Reflections. Help!

I'm looking for a pair that will last several wearings, not get saggy/baggy, not run too easily, and not make my legs look weird! Not cheap, but not super expensive.

I'm hoping some of you can share your experiences with different brands. Thanks so much!

I recently tried the Nordstrom's above and am ordering some more.
The light nude looks pretty "natural" on me. Also the sizing was good--I am kind of in-between sizes in Silk Reflections so wanted to try something different.

I really like Hue, but I also like DKNY. It depends also on which brands have a "nude to you" colour - I have a lot of trouble with finding this!

My favorite brand is Hue, in natural. They are available in Macy's and come in control top, silky, non-silky, etc. Next time I am visiting family in NJ, I plan on stopping in at the Cherry Hill Nordstrom's and trying out the ones Angie recommends. For now, Macy's is under a 10 min. drive from my house and the Hue stockings fit perfectly and are nude for me.

I buy the Nordstrom rack house brand. They are 4.95 a pair and hold up pretty well. I haven't managed to stick a toe though them while putting them on yet, as I've done with other brands.

The colors are a bit limited though. I'm lucky that one of them matches me quite well.

Eta: I don't think they're exactly the same as the ones sold at regular nordstrom, but prob similar. I personally refuse to pay more than $10 a pair for hose.

I've had good luck with the Nordstrom house brand, as well as Hue and Target's in a pinch.

Thank you!!! This is so helpful. I am going to start with the Nordstrom sheer control ones but since I go to the rack all the time, I will also try the Nordstrom rack house brand (wow, only $4.95 a pair)!

Hanes Silk Reflections and be sure to wash them by hand with a made-for-hosiery detergent. I use one called Hosiery Mate, but I'm not sure how widely available it is.

I am a big fan of Spanx. They are pricey, but I handwash them and they last a long time.

Ok, I like drugstore L'eggs because they wear like iron. Esp. hold up to washings. You do have to hunt around, tho, for a store that carries something besides *Suntan.*

I really like the Nordstrom brand, and they are 3 for $30. They're sheer enough to look good, but very sturdy and last for a few months. Here's the link:

Hanes Silk Reflections. I buy them at Macy's when they 're on sale and usually get an extra pair free. I had one pair I wore over fifty times before I got a run. Now that's a great CPW!
