I have a friend, whose bust size is 34.6 inches w/bra on and her ribcage is 26.6 inches,what bra size would that be? Because she definitely have a major difference between her breast and her ribcage.

I'm about 27 around the ribcage and 33 around the bust, and I wear a 30DD. Ideally I would wear a 28E, but the selection of 28s is limited so I tough it out. I would recommend that she look into 28s and 30s in the E through H cup sizes. I'm not sure how the FFs work (and I don't think there's a EE, and some brands go from DDD to F).

I mostly buy from http://www.figleaves.com/us/ and http://www.herroom.com/, and they have a decent selection in her size range.

Thank you Kate! I will most definitely check it out and look into that, because it is not many cater to women measurements like that in the chest size.

That would be an 26F in UK sizing, since it's an 8 inch difference between underbust and bust. Ewa Michalak makes custom order 26 bands. if she wants to try her sister size, she'd be a 28E. Freya, Panache, Cleo by Panache, and Curvy Kate all make 28 bands, I think. They're not all that rare, though they're hard to find in stores. I'm a 28J in Uk sizes (a 28M in US sizes.) Thin And Curvy has a good guide to fitting and sizing.
