What bra do I wear?

Hello ladies, I recently purchased a sheer white tight fitted vneck tank from Brandy Melville and I still don't know what bra to wear with this top. This top is meant to be worn with a strapless bra but since I have a big bust it makes it look really weird. Help!! Thank you xx

Have you considered wearing a (thin) tank top underneath?
sometimes when the garment is too difficult, (transparent + shoulder-less), why not go the opposite route and wear something obvious with it - it needn't be tasteless - like a contrasting color tank-topish sports bra, or any bra worth showing, with wider straps for example, or a tank top, or a cute bikini top.

My daughter wears this with a regular nude colored bra. You can still see the straps but it looks fine.

Cute! I can see how that would be a challenge with a larger bust!

You could go the early Madonna route and wear a bra that's such a statement the top is just like a cover for it. White might be nice. A white cross strap if it's very simple could be kind of interesting too?

I vote for a strapless bra. However, my experience is that the strapless bra needs a perfect fit in order not to leave obvious lines on the clothing. I searched for a long time, and had to get the size just right. I have two of them, one is shown below. The other one is DKNY and no longer made.

Does your regular bra have removable straps? You could try replacing them with clear plastic straps.

This is kind of my pet peeve, when designers make these kinds of tops so sheer that you have to wear something under them. Oftentimes I think that they shoot the pic of the model without wearing anything underneath and then they just photoshop the nipples out, giving the customer a false idea of what the top is really like. Sorry for the rant!
