What body shape am I?

From the front it's like I have minimum curves like a ruler? I guess but from the side I obviously have a bigger butt and boobs. The thing is when I wear clothing I can fit small sizes a 0 or 00 in pants and extra small or small in shirts but my boobs and butt make it hard to fit everything's either tight or too big. Like it fits my butt and boobs but not the rest of me or it fits me but not my bust or butt. It's really tight in this area.

Are there clothing tailor made for women with smaller waist and a bigger bust and butt?

Welcome, Rose. You look like a very slim and fit Inverted Triangle. Do you wear a larger size on top, than on the bottom?

You have a figure just like my DD, except she is not as large in the bust (A-B cup). She is 5' 8" tall and around 120lbs and is most definitely an inverted triangle. Her shoulders are broader than her hips. She wears a medium on top and anywhere from a size 0 to 2 (depending on the brand) on the bottom. She has to try everything on to find what works for her. She likes the clothes at Express because she can usually find something that fits her well, but she does have to try on a lot before she finds the right fit.

Some call me a coke bottle shape which is confusing I thought that was pear shaped. I think they mean slim.

No I wear sizes the same on the top and bottom. Usually extra small or small at the. My bottom half is usually a 00 or 0.

I am wearing kids underwear currently. Size 10 and I tend to wear 10-12 in kids dresses and clothing etc. So the alsiz is the same top and bottom it's just nothing fits my waistline legs are arms if it fits around the bust and butt.

@lara My shoulders are the same size as my hips so they're biggish compared to my waist but it helps fit into clothing. I do fit a medium in bikinis in tops small to medium in bottom bikinis. I've mever gone to express mainly because it's so dark but maybe I should give them a try.

Also I'm a DD cup currently my biggest problem area tends to be my lowest stomach.

My hips are equal to bust and shoulders width wise. But my waist is kind of even too. I don't think its an 8 inch difference between my waist and hips/shoulders.

I just measured my hips are 34" my waist is 22" and my bust is 37" and my shoulders seem to be about 34". My bust before the ba was about even with my butt but my bigger than my waistline.

Ps I remeasuremed my waistline above my belly button which I got a smaller measurement.

Rose, this was interesting for me too. I'm thinking that Angie said inverted triangle because even though you clearly have a waist, from the front your shoulders look broad in comparison to your hips, which look narrow. So, it's not as much about the bust and butt as I thought.
We actually have similar body types and I know just what you mean about fit problems. I wear a lot of separates, and dresses are hard to find. I do think that having broader shoulders is easier than narrow for the right fit in the bust, but if you want your clothes to be more fitted at the waist you may have to get used to having them altered.

I just typed "inverted triangle" in the search bar and there's a lot there, it must be a very common body type even with variations. I'll bet there are some brand recommendations in there somewhere.

Hi, I vote for inverted triangle too. However, I think it's more important to think first what do you want to achieve. Do you want a more hourglassy figure? A more androgynous look? Do you want to emphasize your shoulders? Etc. I was a fan of body shapes too but the advise that they tell you most of the time is to achieve an hourglass siluette and that's not what we always want nor the "ideal".
Now, about your other issue, I recommend tailoring if you're having trouble to fit in some of your clothes.

My shoulders look broader because I'm holding the camera/have my hands on my hips. When I'm normal they're not wider at least.

I was thinking when I'm out I mostly have a bag on my shoulders or something though. So they probably appear bigger since I carry a purse.

People tend to say they're small.

My bust is larger though and always has been.

@dixie when I am not arching my shoulders my shoulders need emphasis as much as my hips do. I forgot to mention my hips dips sorta if that matters at all. Which I always found odd because my hips arent the widest until the very top area.

I'm ok with my shape as it is when I'm thin as long as my muffin top isn't that prominent or obvious in clothing. But things just look baggy and annoying or too tight. I tend to be told I look like a coke bottle in tight clothing and a drowning stick with boobs in clothing too big. I just wish I had well fitting clothing.

I just noticed my butt itself starts a lot higher than normal which is why I get a muffin top I think.
