Wow, Rachy- I was just thinking on the point lately, too!:-)

Are ankle rolled black pants considered uninteresting- so they could be mine!
As for the other items, you can see fringes, pattern and even some matte black sequins(on the shoulders) and a blinging splash of color for the waistbag that has also a holo zip, my god!:-).... Booties have zip on a side and black studs on the back so...I cannot see these from my higher front up point of view, but think they are interesting, too...Wow! I didn't really acknowledged am that "interesting" in a whole:-)).

I'm wearing black joggers (which have brought up memories of wearing pegged pants in the 80s...and I'm sorry, Clinton, but I like the silhouette on me, short and hippy as I am), a long sleeved grey tee, and diamond studs. When I leave the house I'll exchange my fuzzy socks for Duluth Trading Company mary janes in grey/purple. I think every item is boring but I feel good in it.

Hah, Hah, hah...I am looking at myself and the question becomes is there anything interesting ? I had to go to the vet and get our dogs who were boarded over the weekend. So I just threw clothes on. I would say that my black , merino wool camisole ( which no can see...yes, I was peeling layers to find SOMETHING ) has a lovely little flower design on one of the sides at the lower right corner. A lovely surprise....

I feel so boring to wear uninteresting. I am wearing a t-shirt and jeans pants. It has no intriguing elements with the exception of it is long and it has gaps.....boutiqueken

Interesting question.
Today, I was aiming for a more maximal look. I think the most uninteresting item I'm wearing at the moment are my camel boots.

My skinnies are an, interesting to me, shade of blue grey. Some may find them uninteresting though.

Where is Una? Because I think I've really made the neural connection now... because see, isn't it interesting how the most uninteresting part of one's outfit can still be quite interesting?

Makes me think tho of the straight hem, long sleeve, fitted tissue tees that were once a staple of mine. I stopped wearing them really because the look got old and tiresome, generic. Slightly different from uninteresting...

I know exactly which kind of tee you mean. I wore them for years but I more or less stopped buying them. I think one or two are nice to have at hand for layering under dresses, but I wouldn't wear them on their own anymore.

I'm wearing a variety of favorites, but I'm coming off soooo normcore today (I think). Red and white breton top, dark rinse vintage 501s - I call it my "Where's Waldo" outfit. For outside, black Blundstones, blue colorblock puffer, lacy cream scarf (my only interesting item -- but by noon it was too warm for it anyway).

The thing is, I have been striking out on interesting items that fit well. The shirt may be a little run of the mill, but it's the perfect length and boxiness, and I like that the sleeves are slightly cropped but still longer than a 3/4 sleeve, and it's "my" red so I think the overall effect is good. Ditto the 501s, which I guess are a bit more "exciting" than skinnies in a sense, but I can't ever find skinnies that fit, so old-school jeans it is. Same with the Blundstones -- I tried a bazillion black ankle boots this fall, but I'm somewhat limited by picky feet that need a widish toebox.

Went to an early-ish playgroup today and there was a sizeable contingent of moms in Uggs and running tights, so I felt pretty put-together.

Well, I'm currently wearing 10+ year old old bootcuts (interesting only by virtue of their age, ha) and a striped long-sleeved tee.

But also a handknit hoodie vest thingy and burgundy booties.

Today my outfit is even less interesting than yesterday afternoon: bootcut jeans, old long sleeve white tee, crocs, and Columbia big brimmed hat. I was taking down the vegetable garden. It's surprisingly warm.

I'm currently wearing a black scoop neck top and boot cut jeans, so it's a very basic, minimalist look to say the least. However, when I was at work earlier today, I wore the same top with blue culottes and 1930s-style black suede pumps. I'd say my first outfit was definitely the more interesting one of the day.

Slim jeans, long sleeved navy top with micro thin white stripes, navy belt and gold sandals just to keep it from being totally boring.

A striped tee and black jeans. Pearl studs. Snoozorama!!! And yet it's one of my favorite outfits ... *Put fingers on chin and stares ponderingly ahead*

My undies are very uninteresting. Beige, plain, and a cream cami.

You know, I put some thought today into what I'll wear to a luncheon on Friday . . . and then immediately reached for a totally uninteresting outfit to wear today: denim-blue oversized cashmere crewneck, straight-leg Gap jeans, blue Fair Isle socks, a blue & white striped scarf, and soft black sneakers (to cosset a sore heel.) Sometimes boring just feels SO good.

I got dressed today to go on a walk, figuring I'd change for dinner. But didn't go out for dinner, so I'm in simple black pants and a bright variegated striped top that loses points for being a bit worn, and slippers.
But I do have earrings, watch and bracelets on.

Ok, Suz, you have to try harder Undies don't count, hehe.

... I was thinking about all neutral outfits, minimalist outfits. 'Cuz I was looking at this magazine picture. When something is stark, I don't know... I think it may cease to be boring...

I love this question! Okay, I'll play. This is what I'm wearing to work (home office). My husband's gray flannel jacket, uninteresting to most but not to me because, a) it's warm; b) it's my husband's; and it's c) it's gray. I'm also wearing a purple and gray plaid thermal pullover with solid knit cuffs—totally interesting to me, and warm. Hmm, there seems to be a theme. Traveling downward, I'm wearing totally uninteresting blue, saggy butt skinnies. Every pair of jeans I have have the saggy butt thing going on. I put them on, and it's like the damn things give a big sigh and droop. I end up with a crotch point heading toward my knees and fabric drooling down my lower body. Please don't tell me to size down. It's not that. It's the flipping amount of stretch in the fabric. Okay, rant over. Maybe these jeans ARE interesting because of the angst they (and every other pair of jeans I own) produce. And my wool Glerups. Again, totally interesting to me because they are a) wool; b) warm; c) have a cute backstory (the brand, that is); and d) I bought them in Iceland, which I love.

Thanks, Rachylou!

Lol, I do sense a theme...but don't get me started on pants that magically expand on the drive home from the shops...lol

Yesterday I was head to toe in blue. Nice and simple: oversized navy sweater, dark wash denim chinos, ink minimalist raincoat. It felt somber and calming.

Underneath my jumper I wore a t-shirt with a very angry slogan, because I am screaming on the inside.

For some reason, that just tickles me, approprio. Somber fixings and one very angry tee shirt.

I watched Mad Max Fury Road last night. Sitting with Lilypup on the sofa while she recuperates. Something I don't do - just sit and veg. In any case, I felt Mad Max was just right. Just revving up for the Zombie Apocalypse

Rachy, have you seen Pride and Prejudice and Zombies? I thought it was pretty good. Not Colin Firth/ Jennifer Ehle good, but still pretty good.

I haven't...I'll try it. Make a theme of it, totally But Colin is the definitive Mr. Darcy. Out does even Olivier, hehe.

Approprio--I need some angry t-shirts to wear under my sweaters, because I'm screaming inside, too! Screaming and sobbing and tearing my hair. T-shirts--really love that idea. Mad Max Fury Road is genius, too, Rachylou. The martini I had last night was good for awhile...then it wore off.

Yeah, except not even Imperator Furiousa can save us from Immortan Joe and his pasty faced War Boys this time. Mediocre!!

The shirt is angry, topical and contains language. It was bought at a Jello Biafra gig, venue to the oldest mosh pit I have ever seen. Punk may not be dead just yet but it'll be drawing a pension in a year or two.

I may have to wear it in public this weekend, but I am unlikely to post a WIW.

The time for punk is now. We just couldn't see it around the tech bubble for a bit...

I wear absolutely regular blue jeans every day, it's very useful, that's why.

I hear ya, Britney

LOL, an orthopedic boot!
