Visiting some new-to-you websites can be fun, interesting and educational.

I love ravelry [dot] com for all things knit and crochet. It's fascinating to watch the trends cycle through there: fashion trends, home decor trends, etc

I like thebloggess [dot] com for a DELIGHTFULLY hilarious look at everyday life.

And here lately, I've had to get lost in some serious rabbit holes to learn how to homestead on the fly. Backyardchickens [dot] com was the first one I had to get lost in. I find some Reddit subs are great for lurking because they have such a wealth of information: r/buyitforlife, r/castiron, r/goodyearwelt, and their homestead subs r/homestead and r/homesteading have all been a great resource for me to turn to when my SIL can't help me out because she is busy doing her actual teaching job.

I'm favoriting this thread because I am always looking for new sources of information on a variety of subjects

Lately, I like the Shakespearean insult generator at http://www.pangloss.com/seidel/Shaker/ It comes in handy when writing to politicians! Sample insults:

Thou errant bat-fowling coxcomb!
Thou infectious pottle-deep codpiece!
Thou weedy half-faced gudgeon!

So classy, these insults!

I like MrMoneyMustache -- a site for early retirement. The blog is interesting but the forums are where I spend time. Very helpful people who are very knowledgeable about saving and investing. Many of them are uber-frugal. They are happy to give advice--oftentimes very thoughtful and detailed advice--but be aware they give it to you "straight".

For style I like (You Look Fab is #1 of course) Style Bee. She has a simple style that works for me. I have bought a few items that I saw her wear. (Kamm pants for example). I also like Gretchen's Closet. Her reviews are worth reading.
Brian Pickings is another site for interesting reading. I found that site from here. Someone mentioned it.
I read some that others have mentioned so I won't repeat them.

I must admit that I am always on the look out for new and interesting websites. The jw.org site was very informative and had lots of variety of subjects as well as beautiful artwork. Thanks for the tip!

Red Lemonade is one of my favorite comedy blogs, EVER. The writer, Kitty Catastrophe, has brillliantly recapped and commented upon much of the Sweet Valley High series (up to #42 so far). And her recap of the Fifty Shades of Gray series is one of my favorite rabbit holes, EVER. (Tip: bring coffee and snacks, for this particular trip. Be careful not to snort the coffee through your nose, and onto your laptop screen or monitor when you laugh)...
