I typically do not have many holiday parties to attend, usually just one that some friends hold every year. They recently moved into the city and live in an apt that is always very warm even in winter so cashmere sweaters are NOT ok for this event. My friend loves the location and everything about living in the city but bemoans that she cannot wear most of her sweater collection at home.

I'm thinking separates, with some velvet. I'm especially liking the print top from Anthro shown in finds, with black pants. Not sure I want to spring for fancy shoes I'd hardly ever wear but like the Anthro ones in finds.

What is everyone else thinking of for holiday outfits? What seems to be trending this year? I know Angie you were thinking of a bright pink suit...
