What are you hunting for these days?

I have a few potential HEWIs on my list. Still looking for a pair of raw hem crops for petites - may have to make my own! Also a tweedy spring jacket that fits my style, mirror-finish silver shoes, and a pair of metallic denim skinnies to replace my worn out silver pair. Metallics seem to be a good neutral for me with my new hair color. And I'm ALWAYS looking for the perfect tee!

Hmm this is my list. However I just ignored it all and bought a skirt instead lol. We shall see how it works out.

going shopping tomorrow-new undies a priority, but fashion items are

1. going to try on block heel pumps per my today post-

2. white skinnies

3. raw hemmed crops

4. always look for 100% cotton t's and pick up any suitable ones I find. These are not always easy to find.

5. if I just happen to see a pair of black cut out ankle booties at a reasonable price I will try them, but this is not likely.

DH will be working on an outdoor project all day tomorrow, so a great day for me to be gone for a little shopping in b and m stores.

I shouldn't be hunting for anything - I just bought some crop flare jeans and a couple of dresses that can be worn now layered with jackets and tights and later alone. And some lace up flats. However....I'm waiting for the inevitable BR 40% off sale to snap up these two items. And I agree - the perfect tee is always on my radar. Maybe some cropped straight jeans too.

Top on my list is a good quality, durable pair of black slim ankle pants (in a tall size). I have a couple of place holders but would love to upgrade. I will also be looking for another pair of specs to add to my collection. Additionally I need to focus on building a better activewear/gear capsule… not terribly exciting but necessary.

My autumn/winter hunting list is:

- a nice x-shaped jacket or less formal blazer for summer/mid-season ranges of temperature [Brazilian early autumn/late spring are quite hot and even in winter we can manage to use this]

- new black 3/4 coat/trench for mid-season/winter temperatures (mine is too old and needs to be replaced)

- new black "work" shoes (something like and oxford with low heels or an ankle boot with low heels, also replacement for my old ones)
- some new chandelier gypsy-like silver earrings, a "big" stone pendant (no really big, just a little bigger than my usual medium size pendants) and a flattering color new scarf

On the hunt for:

1. the perfect black cotton or linen tee, short and long-sleeved versions
2. red clutch
3. white summer booties
4. a summer maxi dress, not sure about the color but I'll know it when I see it
5. fun espadrilles with great arch support--these aren't easy to find

A stepmother of the groom dress, but one that doesn't LOOK like it.

I would still like to find my HEWI black (or even navy) casual dress, but it seems to be more HE than anything else.

Keeping an eye out for a possible spring/summer bottom alternative to the Zella/Athleta capris, and maybe a pair of sandals or two to update the s/s footwear collection.

Ummlila, I LOVE those! All the pairs I've found are over $200 except on E-bay. I will check them out...

Also interesting how the model has layered the sandals over the pant hem.

A blazer in a light color, but not beige or gray. J Crew has some linen ones in several colors online, but I didn't see them in the stores this week. I'd want to try it on.

A casual skirt that comes just to the knee.

Some tops with scoop or V necks in pretty colors that I can wear with my necklaces and pendants. Boat necks aren't working for that.

If I saw a great, easy to wear casual dress in a style that looks good on me I'd grab it.

I did have a summery bag on my list, but yesterday I found two at Macy's on sale and got them both, and I even got an additional discount when they were rung up!

1. The shoes - pointed, low block heel, lace-up, color that is not black (would love them in navy)

Not hunting - yet. I need to do the review... but potentials are kick-flares, assymetric top, houndstooth slim pants (if they exist), loafers, ankle strap shoes with ties or lots of buckle straps, something flouncy...

I've already found my perfect tee (Everlane's cotton v-neck, sized up, in white) but I am always looking for the perfect jeans. I am just SO picky about jeans and haven't set aside the time to go shopping in person. I could use:

- black skinny or cigarette jeans
- washed dark grey skinny jeans
- plum or burgundy jeans
- a second, tighter-fitting pair of white skinny jeans
- the same elusive raw-hem crops for petites

Not that I could afford to buy all of that at once, but I would definitely make room in the budget for a few pairs, even at designer pricing, if they fit just right. At least I finally sorted the flares situation with a dark-wash pair from Express and a lighter wash bootcut-ish pair.

I'm a little shoe obsessed right now. I would like a pair of mules similar to the Gucci's, and a pair of sling backs similar to the Erdems . I have no idea about anything else

A clutch in a pretty floral pattern is something I've been thinking about for a while now. If anyone sees one, please share!

I don't have anything too specific in mind but I need to add a few spring/summer tops to wear to the office. And I would love to add a couple of dresses as I really like them for hot weather.

Navy shoes/sandals are a HEWI for me so I would love to find just the right pair. What is it with navy shoes that so many seem to skew frumpy? I also want another pair of gray and/or silver sandals, preferably in a lace up. I had a pair last year that got a ton of wear.
