I hope everyone had a wonderful day. We actually had my best friend and her husband spend the weekend with us (they live in the Bay area), and they’ve just flown back. Hence my forum absence over the last few days. We had a Valentines weekend full of fabulous food, fashion and friendship. Utter bliss and I miss my best friend already (sad face).

Ooh I don't know how I missed this thread. I spend actual Valentines Day working on my dissertation (huge surprise!) but I celebrated Valentine the previous Sunday by spending the entire day eating delicious food- http://www.jamieoliver.com/rec.....tagliarini and watched most of Season 1 of Heroes. I got Alan a small present of icanhascheezburger's book- http://www.amazon.co.uk/Can-Ha.....038;sr=1-1 and I haven't received my present from him but I believe it is more RAM for my laptop. It mightn't be traditionally romantic but it's something that I've intended to buy for a while.
