What are we thinking of The Limited's quality lately?

I haven't gotten anything from The Limited in probably two years, and what I did buy a few years ago, was hit and miss for quality.

I got sucked into the store because of a sweater in their window (like I need MORE tomato red with camel . . .) and saw this adorable light coat

It has stretch, so I worry that it might start to bag at elbows, rear, etc. and I worry about pills and fabric finish.

Any recent thoughts or experience out there in YLF? TIA

P.S. With discounts and copons it gets very inexpensive, so I do not think of it as a $148 jacket. . .

I prefer their woven items to their knits. I did buy a tunic sweater from there last year that's held up well, but I didn't launder it too frequently, and it's only been a year.

Thanks, C1, a year or more is encouraging! and even a year is better than what I got out of a couple cotton sweaters

But then again, one of their mesh sleeveless tops has been my saving grace over three hot summers!

I can't speak for their tops, my last purchase from Limited was two years ago and it was a pair of denim Bermuda shorts. They were laundered often and did not make it past one season. The material got very stiff over time.

I don't have a Limited nearby so it's been a very long time since I've even been in the store, but I LOVE that coat, and the sweater, well it's a match made in heaven!

I used to love the Limited in high school. Does any remember their Outback Red line?
About four years ago I need some cheap professional clothes for my externship. Got some good stuff there. I was a 12/14 at the time, so they were one of the few mall stores to fit me. But I only kept the clothes for about a year because I lost weight.
ETA For my birthday in my first year in college when I turned 18 my Dad sent me an awesome care package of their clothes that he picked. My roommate was supremely jealous.
