This is the second of the travel capsules for my Western Adventure, commencing at dawn on Saturday! In the first, http://youlookfab.com/welookfa.....y-mountain, I focused on hiking/rafting/camping gear, necessary for the 6 days we will be camping without electricity in the national parks. This capsule is for the days of travel to and from --- including time at Rushmore, Cody (going to a museum there) and Jackson Hole. These outfits will take me out to eat, shopping and sight seeing, and might see some simple boardwalk hiking.

It looks like the weather will be wonderful. Mostly sunny and cool --- highs from 58 to 72. Lows dipping down to..........32F in Yellowstone.

1/2: Black skinnies (full length, just rolled here) and a new Apt. 9 top (just in the stores). In #2 I'm wearing an anorak that I think is too poor a fit to make the trip. It's too short waisted and short -- it might have worked in a larger size, but even then the proprotions would be off (and it's two years old anyway). Donate the jacket, or wear it for color and donate after the trip?

3/4: I love this simple shell --- stays crisp and floaty even when I'm not feeling crisp. I'd wear this in town on the warmest day. Yes, at 70 degrees I can do sleeveless. I run quite warm. The anorak appears again -- and is not pleasing me.

5: Another floaty top -- which I love. Makes another appearance in 10 and 14. I like these fabrics for warmer days, or days in the car (my DH likes to keep things cool when he drives.

6. A striped top that makes an appearance again in #11

7-10 My ON bf jeans. These are still warm from the dryer -- yep DH dried them (hey, he does the laundry). They'll loosen up in 30 minutes, though. Here I'm pairing them with the same tops again, adding a cotton cardi. Perhaps the sweater in #7 should go instead of the anorak?

11-13 Forum members wisely suggested adding a sweater and more long pants, so I've added my Levi skinnies (love em, I should duplicate) and I've rolled them and paired them with my Clarks booties, which have lots of support and will work for walking and shorter hikes. Love these! I'm placed a close up photo at the end. The mixed-media fleece in #13 is practical, but refined, which I like.

14-15 The bf shorts will make an appearance, in case I want something casual for warmer days. These shorts will also work with my tech tops from the other capsule and my Sketchers.

Pardon some of the wacky and frazzled expressions. I'm running out of hours! I needed to do this post for me, however. Having tried and viewed the combinations, I'll be able to dress without a mirror and any time to hem and haw about it. I welcome any suggestions!

Going to the grocery store for last minute provisions! Catch you in after dinner -- once i figure out what we're eating!
