I hope that this is the last part of my summer casual saga, with happy ending hopefully. I am off work today, but had to drop off my daughter to school this morning. Well, just next to the school there is a big mall and I decided ti go in. I rarely shop in B&M stores because I almost never have time for just myself. I treated my self with nice cup of tee while waiting for stores to open. And then braced myself and started looking and trying things on, concentrating on bottoms. I hit a jack pot in Zara with 4 items. One of them is a wild card skirt. I just hope that Zara did not have a skinny mirrors and that I will not look huge in it once I tried it at home. Other things a pretty basics, but I feel much more me in them. There is only one thing that I was not sure about and I left it in the store. It was an olive linen shirt dress, beautifully made, heavy linen, on the expensive side for me (not Zara obviously). I just wished it was longer. They had the same dress in many colors - white, navy, taupe, light blue, white and blue stripes etc but I was drawn to this olive color. What do you think? Is it too short or can I get away with it? Is this maybe tunic and should not be worn as a dress? And is the olive best color for me out of those available? Dress like that would round up my new casual collection nicely.
You can see all my new items from today's shopping trip in finds.
