Well that was fast - Need a 2nd interview outfit for today!

So I just went to a group interview for Anthro yesterday. I was planning to interview at a different location today, but I just got a call inviting me back to the same location for a followup interview.

Uh, I guess that means I can't wear yesterday's outfit again as I'd planned. Oops. I also hesitate to wear the other Given Then Gathered dress in blue, because I'll be interviewing with the same people.

1-2 These are my other Anthro dresses/ knockoff Anthro dresses (#1 is from Macy's). #3 is a skirt that's not from Anthro but maybe looks like it could be... Is this outfit too buttoned-up and J. Crew-ish? Should I try to do a blazer over one of the actual Anthro items instead?

I like 3. I like that the button down top is a little more structured and it shows your creativity in putting outfits together. However, I can see that #1 is more Anthro-ish, just because of the necklace. At this point, you've shown them you know how to dress Anthro-style - this interview is about showing them you are serious and dependable, which is why I lean towards #3.

I could also maybe wear a silk shirt in one of my "power colors" - orange or citron.

I don't know Anthro, so I can't help there, but I also prefer #1 and 3.

Ok, #2 is out. Leaning toward #1 since it is still warm out and #3 has more layers to make me hot/uncomfortable.

So maybe #1 is more Anthro, I am not qualified to say. I will say with no hesitation I like #3 best because it's *you*. It's a funky professional look, easy bohemian, and lovely. Good luck!

I vote #1. The long line of the dress with the pop of bright blazer is a really striking, focused look to make a great impression

#1! They'll wonder where you got that fab dress (cuz Bailey never did those colors in long sleeves) and with less layers you'll be more comfortable which you want to be at ease

I'd carry the bag from #3 with #1, though. That may just be personal preference, however.

I love them both. #3 is more j.Crew IMO so i would go with #1. also, you feel better in #1 and that will come through in the interview.

Thanks so much, everyone! I went with #1 and wore my cognac briefcase-like bag instead of the map bag. I was very happy with the outfit, as we were asked to do two styling missions, which meant running about - I would have been too warm in #3 for sure. My fingers are crossed. I think I gave some good answers to the questions, and I was well-prepared for the outfit challenges.

Una, I interviewed for a holiday SA spot.

On another note, I think It's finally time to say goodbye to this orange blazer. I can't believe I've only had it a year! There are little holes wearing through on the ends of the sleeves, and I had to give it a good shave before the interview to be rid of the pilling. If anyone sees a similar blazer, please let me know!
