Do you ever walk into a shoe store looking for something and find the absolute perfect must-have-in-my-closet-immediately pair of olive, faux suede, lace up boots? Because I did yesterday. They're a bit more brown than the olive jeans I have, so I think they'd look good together--I'll have to try them out and take a picture and see what y'all think. They work GREAT with my bootcut jeans (hooray for olive and denim) and should work with most other bottoms I have. And they're super comfortable and they're soft on the inside, to boot! (Pun completely intended.)

I was planning on replacing my old black flats because I'd worn them all the way into the ground. I wound up getting this velvety pair with a subtle pattern because I've been on a texture kick and because they're extremely comfortable and fit like a dream. They have a little stretch on the heel, so they move with my feet as I walk.

The flats also come in wine, and the boots also come in black and brown. I got them both from Off Broadway Shoes, which was having a buy one, get one 50% off sale, which means that clearly I was meant to have these boots, right? They were a total impulse buy, but they fit every single one of my criteria for shoes: comfortable, practical, and can be worn regularly (I only own one pair of dress shoes that are too nice to wear casually because I lead a very casual lifestyle).
