Hi YLF family.

I can't believe it's been 9 months since I've posted. Time sure does fly. A lot has been happening with personal stuff so that's kept me busy. Fashion and style has not been on my list since working from home during COVID, and of course with that come menopause and weight gain. It's been a struggle and most of work clothes are a bit snug. Hence I have not bought anything in over 2 years, give or take a few pairs of shoes and essentials.

On a few good notes, I'm a second time aunt as of today, and hubby and I have made a major life decision: I will be leaving my job for good (EGADS!! Should I say I'm retiring??) at the end of the year. I am looking forward for the new stage of my life and its a scary process for sure, but as my counselor told me, "don't retire from something, retire to something." I've picked up sketching, I'd like to go back to photography, and finally do some much needed traveling.

Meanwhile, I'm trying to get back into shape, although it's taking it's sweet old time for those numbers to drop. I've started running and weight training again, and my goal is to look in decent shape by New Year since its my birthday and then I can start thinking about my love for clothes. One thing COVID has taught me is to shop mindfully with quality in mind.

I'll be looking forward to posting here again and seeing everyone's post.

Naz
