LaPed yes, my hair is naturally wavy. I try to enhance it, but apparently I've been fighting it for years in the front by scraping it back into a pony tail. I've been ordered not to pull it back anymore, which is good - I feel now with this cut that I can enjoy the shape and texture of my hair, which I never do when it's long because I just pull it back.

bonnie - Amen! I even get to see my mom soon too, after almost a year and a half!
Jenn- yes, it's shaping up to be a good year! I mean, anything b eats last year, but this one seems particularly good so far.
minaminu- I found a great new hairdresser who was really willing to talk to me and advise me. Thrilled with the result, though I do need to adjust to the bangs - it's been almost 30 years, and the bangs I had the first time were... not great.
