It’s not 100% yet and we’re still ironing out details, but it’s never too early to plan ahead!

Greg and I are scheduled to take part in an event in Boston on 17th and 18th Nov but we'll be there over the weekend preceding those dates. I would LOVE to see any YLF members who can spare a spot of time on Sunday 16th. Let me know if a Boston Tea Party is doable (Nicole, I’ll let you drink coffee).

I am certainly coming! I do not know if we have a proper tea place (I'll research that), but there is a very nice Chocolate Bar ( chocolate for brunch)

We don’t have to have High Tea at all. We can do lunch or supper instead – or both! We can stand under a tree and yak if we have to. I’m game for anything as long as it means we get to meet. Hopefully others are able to join us. Otherwise it’s just you and me babe.

... although I will warn you in advance, my hair will be quite a spectacle by then, as I am holding out until the 20th for my next cut & color, so that my hair looks perfect for my 25th high school reunion during T-day week!!!

If you post pics on your blog of our get-together, perhaps Greg can airbrush my hair? <giggle>

I would love to join, but cannot those dates. Please let me know if dates change or of future get-togethers. I am sad, but must admit a small sigh of relief as I have NO idea what I would wear to fit with the uber-stylish Tanya/Shiny/Angie crowd. I truly feel this forum is not competitive or comparative, but it certainly has re-set my bar of expectations and I have not yet made it there personally. Particularly on non-work wear and fall, I have work to do!

If you want fancy high tea, most of the major Back Bay hotels do it. I think the 4 Seasons is the nicest, but of course so is the price! The chocolate buffet you mention, Tanya, is very special.

I am beside myself with jealousy and envy. How come no one comes to New York?! I can't believe out of the 8 million people here, no one posts on YLF! You ladies are going to have such an incredible time. I can't even imagine.

Angie and Boston ladies, what a coincidence that this message should appear today. I am a longtime reader of the site and am moving to Boston in a few weeks to join my husband, who has been living there since June. I noticed how many people from Boston were here and had decided that I ought to join the forum and see about the tea party that's been discussed. Lo and behold, Angie beats me to the punch! I should be in Boston by the 16th and will try to make it.

How far a drive in Boston from Manhattan?

I was thinking about Nicole too. She posted in the Sarah Palin discussion so I assumed she is just busy and doesn't have enough time to reply to everything at once.

As for driving, it's probably about a 4 hour commute. The train is probably a lot faster though. The Acela Express goes from Boston to NY at 150mph and without any traffic. I wish I could make a trip up there, but I have class/work both those days :(.

Okay I'm here.. Sorry for my recent absence. BUT...I finally finished painting my bedroom. I'll post some pics tomorrow.

I am SO in for November 16th guys! I can't wait and wouldn't miss this for the world. I don't care where we meet and I don't care what I wear. Honestly!

Greenlove, I think you are supposed to leave the comment on the blog ( not here on the forum), where Angie publishes her daily articles. There will be a 'comments' button on the bottom, you click on it, and there will be a form, where in addition to the actual comment, you type in your screen name and email address. Only Angie will be able to see your address, it will not be printed.
