Weird: Dupe of J.Crew Tossed Hearts print at Reitmans?!

I just noticed something on the Reitmans website that looked very familiar:
http://www.reitmans.com/Printe.....#038;cgid= the print on the blouse in #1 is exactly the same as my J.Crew Tossed Hearts blouse #2. Funny because I remember the J.Crew website waxing rhapsodic about how it was a vintage print that they had recreated especially for them! It comes in grey at Reitmans, too. Is it wrong that I am tempted?

Wow, that looks like the exact same fabric.. not a knock-off/"tribute"!
I sometimes wonder if suppliers have leftover bolts etc that get sold to other companies when they shouldn't be. I used to shop at Reitman's a lot and the odd thing would be surprisingly good quality or a cut that wasn't the average or trendy(-ish) thing they usually do. For example, some long, navy blue, suiting-quality rayon blend shorts I picked up two years ago. They look like stuff Angie was pinning for this year.
It'd be very interesting to compare the fabric hand/quality on the two shirts... I might do some lunch recon this week (keeps me busy!)

Jules, interesting thought about the leftover bolts. I don't think that is the case here, though, since the J.Crew blouse is silk and the Reitmans version is polyester. Curiouser and curiouser! I think I'm going to investigate too, I rather like the grey version....

Hmmmm nm the Reitman's shirt is poly, I assume the JC one is silk? Still looks like someone stole the pattern... I always find it fascinate to wonder about the inner workings of the industry when this stuff happens. I guess it could be as simple as someone from Reitman's spotting the print and blatantly ordering a rip-off.
