kari, Khris has a point. I've found food tracking also helps me make sure I'm not overdoing the carbs (even fruits taken into account) or fat. I try to keep to a 40-30-30 balance of carbs, protein and fat. It's a little bit of work setting up some custom foods and such but soon it won't take more than a few minutes of your time.

I've been eating and working out well but I haven't seen any changes in the last few weeks. I hope to see something soon It's so discouraging sometimes. Especially when I want to buy clothes in new cuts and styles, inspired by everyone here.
