You've made the broth sound so easy - I'm going to try it! I know what you mean about the good broth being pricey. Luckily for me, the local health food store has a really good sale on right now. But ...normally, it gets expensive buying the broth.
Meanwhile, I notice that you're having issues with sleeves all being too long. This was and still is very much a part of my weight loss journey. It was getting so annoying that I started thinking maybe I was petite on top or something. Tried some petite sweaters at Kohl's and they did fit much better in the arms and shoulders, but the length was too short. This will be ideal in the future for looking for tops that work well with skirts. Not a priority for me right now, so I didn't buy them.
Meanwhile - here's the shocking thing - went looking at Marshall's and even Ross, in search of either a trench coat or a wool winter coat. Turns out a size small is what fits me best in the shoulders, bust, arms. It's dicey though as to whether the 'small' will fit through my midsection - some brands are ok and some truly aren't. At the same time though, a 'medium' in certain brands can sometimes work. I am having major issues with the shoulders, bust and sleeve length. This has been going on for quite awhile. Meanwhile, none of my other clothes are a size small. It was just really surprising looking at coats and realizing what's going on.
Just wanted to say that I don't think it's that your arms are short I was thinking that too, for the longest time. It's really one of those fun (not!) things about losing weight.
It is likely to stay like this until you get to goal weight. I've been dealing with this aspect for at least the last 30-40 pounds of weight loss. This is just going to be one of those things that you'll have to be picky about from here on out. Finding something that fits in the shoulders and sleeves and still fits the rest of you. For me, this is proving to be quite the challenge. I think it's just a matter of getting the last of the weight off, though.
Nothing wrong with your arms Khris - this is just one of the more frustrating aspects of finding clothes that fit well as you're losing weight.
Still working my way through 'Coat Conundrum' over here too
