I went on my first shopping trip since joining YLF and really feel great about what I brought home! Both trips were during my daughter's nap time, so I was somewhat limited to where I could go, so I stayed close to home.
Saturday I went to Kohl's and found 3 tops and a cute little summer cardigan to go with my sleeveless shirts.
Sunday I went to LOFT and ended up with 3 bottoms (dark wash skinny jeans, linen capris and some utility-type pants) and 2 tops. I even scored everything half off!
My thought process this time was much different than my usual shopping trip. I really put some effort into finding weekend wear that I loved, but that was comfortable and that could be worn to work if I wanted to. Those outfits will also work if I have to go out for a photoshoot on a hot day. The other pieces I bought to wear for work are dressier and will go with different bottoms. I feel like I need to update my shoes some now, but I'll probably wait for the right pieces to come along, especially since I spend a good chunk this weekend!
Thank you all for the links and advice on my first post here a few weeks back! That really helped me narrow my focus instead of just shopping for whatever was on sale or fit ok.
I couldn't find links to everything, but here are two of the tops I brought home. Wearing the leopard one now, and have gotten several compliments on it already!
