I'm glad you had a little respite and that you are now approaching the finish line. Keeping you in my thoughts during this last week of treatment. xo

Finish line in sight. I hope it's smooth sailing all the way... thonk that's what the doctor meant? No surprises or curve balls?

So good to hear that you are getting through this and nearing the finish line! Thanks for sharing your update with us.

Almost there Tanya. You have been great and I am glad friends are giving you support.
Big hugs.

So glad to hear that the countdown is on! Sorry about the taste buds, that is a tough one... Virtual Hugs!!!

Only six more to go - yea!

Thank you everyone for your kind words and all the amazing support! Right now I am down to 5 treatments left.

The taste is almost completely gone, which makes eating diificult, but I am trying to force myself. Still I think that I might have lost a couple of pounds this week, which is not good. Also, my skin burn has become quite bad. it is quite painful, and burns, but I have a cream that helps. The skin is cracked and peeled, and even bleeds a little. So a nice nurse today gave me a bunch of supplies for wound treatment.

It was a difficult day today, so I never got to post my contribution to the challenge, and I am very sorry for that. Chances are the same will happen tomorrow. I need natural light and my treatment has been moved yet again, so we have to leave at 1pm, and there isn't much time for the window of opportunity. Worst case scenario, I just might post all the outfits on the weekend, when I do not have to rush to the treatment,

I am glad you are participating in the challenge! Looking forward to seeing your pictures. It's awful you have to deal with this, but you are handling it with great strength. If you need some distraction (other than having fun with fashion):

Maybe it's been a while since you saw it?

Hey, no worries about the outfit pictures. Do post them altogether when you get a chance. I am very happy that you are playing along, though! Keep your spirits high and increase your protein intake - add an extra meal/shake a day if necessary.

Tanya you are into the home stretch, how exciting! I hope the last 5 treatments go as smoothly as they can, and then you can focus on recovery and hopefully get some relaxing in. I'm glad you had a few days off, I am sure the rest was welcomed. *HUGS* Hang in there, strong lady!

Thanks ladies! At this point it is very obvious I will post my challenge photos over the weekend - my daily schedule just does not allow for picture taking.

The good news: I only have three treatments left! Almost there, the finish line is in sight. It is kind of annoying that the final one is on Monday, I wish I could be done before the weekend. The bad news: the neck burn has gotten quite nasty and very painful. I have to keep the burn cream on it all the times.

Three more! Do you see that light at the end of the tunnel now?

Glad that you are almost done with those treatments. I have found that the radiation nurses have good tips for managing the side effects and hope they can help you stay comfortable through the home stretch.

Hang in there. There is a YLF chorus cheering you onward.

Tanya, hang in there. You're so brave. I'm thinking about you.

Dear Tanya, you are almost done! You are in my thoughts and prayers. Be gentle with yourself.
