This month, I started adding olive back into my wardrobe after attrition brought me down to just the Miz Mooz sandals shown in Finds.
My new shirt jacket from Sanctuary is already in regular rotation, anytime I’m in enough AC to justify it, and the Sundance booties are fresh out of the box. After chewyspaghetti started looking at booties with a deep V, she got me thinking about how great that extra ventilation is for a warm climate. It feels like a win to be able to slip these onto bare feet in August, and I think they’ll still be great with socks or tights later in the year.
Picture is not great (it’s a still from a video I took at the Autry museum) but you get the idea. (By the way, if you’re in SoCal, that museum has a fun fashion exhibit right now, all about how western wear like denim, flannel shirts, fringe, and aloha shirts became woven into American culture. Lots of vintage clothing on display!)
