Hi Ladies,

You may recall I had to have my wedding band cut off a month or so ago:). I'm not too bothered as I really only like to wear one ring;). My engagement ring needs resizing and I am happy to continue wearing it
BUT I don't mind the idea of having 2 or 3 options to change around.

#1 is what I am considering.

#2 is my current engagement ring sans band (which sat under the setting and cldnt really be seen)- I still love this ring!

#3 is what I am currently wearing - my grandmothers diamond eternity ring with silver bands either side

What do you think of #1? I like that it is modern, not to delicate and mixes metals.

what a beautiful modern ring Deborah. I like how it incorporates the classic "plain gold ring" of wedding tradition - a lovely reference- and the fact that the gold ring appears to sit freely, which draws attention to it. The whole ring is a lovely 21st-century addition to your suite of fine jewellery.

Like lyrebird, l love that it keeps the traditional value of an unbroken circle of gold at its heart but is perfectly complementary for the dramatic style you also espouse. GREAT choice!

I DO admire #1 Deborah, and you can still change things around by wearing your beautiful engagement ring on the other hand or instead of.

1 is great and I see it very much as your style. Why not have options for different moods? Your current options are lovely too so you can't lose. We're shopping for anniversary bands and I think I found one, but we have to wait until the house refinance is finished to really purchase. I initially thought something with yellow and white gold would be nice (my wedding and engagement rings are platinum)

Love the mixed metal, modern elements of #1. And you already have the 2nd and 3rd rings in your collection, right? Is there any reason you can choose which of the three to wear based upon your mood and outfit. I mean, it's not liking having three different choices for your left hand means your married to three different men!

#1 really is stunning, #2 and #3 are both nostalgic and elegant.

All your options are beautiful. #1 is wonderfully modern and in keeping with your style.
My only question is whether your husband has any feelings about which one you wear. I'm very sentimental about my ring from my husband, and I would only want to change if he were on board because to me the symbolism of the ring is much more important than the fashion statement.

I am feeling very naked without my ring at the moment - I'm not overly sentimental about the actual ring but I do feel like I need a ring on.

The first ring seems very much in keeping with your style. It is somehow flowing and organic with just enough structure to contrast beautifully. The two tones would be very versatile. I think it would be a beautiful addition to your collection. And your engagement ring is simply gorgeous.
