wedding outfit shoes with RL pic

I now have a short list of all the suggestions (some from me) that seem to fit this criteria.

This is for a backup - I have 2 weeks in which I can return them. They are reasonably comfy. Love to hear your thoughts on them

I love #2 of the links. The shoes you have on in the pictures and #1 of the links don't seem to go with the tone of the dress though they serve the purpose of wearing a wedge. I think #2 of the links does matches the tone of your dress quite well, and would blend into the rest of your wardrobe successfully.

I also prefer the shoe in link #2. While the shoe you bought would work, I find #2 more edgy and I think it will add a bit of casual element given the setting of the wedding.

There is something about this little cream wedge sandal that is too casual for the frock. That said, I LOVE the sandal for your casual style and hope that you keep it anyway.

I vote silver sandal, not unlike #2.

I think you all felt like the wedges in my pic were not quite right and I think I felt that too.

The right silver ones are proving elusive!! Angie, you are saying that something like those, but a little different?

The wicker heel on that style is very casual, Anne. I'm feeling something more dressy.

You know what is annoying? - I own some wedding suitable silver sandals (see pic) I wonder if I could just get by with these ones, even with the marquee garden wedding (the reason I was getting wedges) - I know they are laying a floor for dancing.

I would definitely try this, Anne. You don't have a lot of extra cash to throw around and this way you might have more for a topper should you need it.

It arrived this morning but I am too tired to try it on and take a pic tonight - trying to get up enough strength to wash the dishes is my main aim right now!

Your existing shoes look perfect Anne, if the weather is dry you should hopefully avoid sinking into the grass (just kick off your shoes if you have to) and the dance floor takes care of the evening.

I hope you managed the washing up before crashing for some needed rest.

Yes I have done the dishes and have a bit of a second wind - time to fold the laundry now (at least I can do that while watching TV and sitting down)

I like your existing shoes best of all the choices too. But if you see any wedges in the stores between now and then that would do the trick, great. If not, you know you have something nice to wear. A pair of Dr. Scholl's Flats to Go in your purse could be good back-up if you find that the heels are unworkable on the grass.

Thanks JR - I was thinking of bringing a back up too. I'll have to look up the brand you mentioned, but was thinking I could just keep the wedges I have bought (since Angie approves of them, and they weren't expensive) and have them as my backup.
