Following on from part 1

Here are a few I am considering to go with this dress (pictured)

I like all the options (depending how they work with the dress) but none of them would make the dress more casual imo.

So happy you haven't given up dressing "up" for the wedding! like the dress, and for me the first and last link are the better to try. Maybe you'll find a pasmina or shawl, too.
I suggest trying one of any your jakets on it, just to see if jackets will work generally.
I do this all the time, even if colour material, fit and texture doesn't work, but you can basically imagine if will do, and how.

OMG, Anne, pls ignore my earlier post, as now I see you've already did this, in your previous thread:-). Now, looking at those picties, I think I like the blazer option the most for a reason, even kept unbuttoned. See what oherts say, but the two options I said before seems good to me.:-)

Anne I'm partial to the white drape jacket. The white could be quite lovely against the blue of the dress and has more of a daywear vibe...to me anyway.

I too like the white jacket the best from your choices. If you don't already have a white jacket it would be a handy piece to have.
Katies have a more casual version that you might consider, as well as a blazer styled jacket in white

I love the idea of the white jacket. I would look out for a multi-colored or bright white shawl/scarf too, just in case the dress proves difficult to pair with a jacket.

I think the white draped jacket would be a super option. And it's not so dressy that you couldn't wear it again. I can see it over a striped tee with skinny jeans and silver sandals for a dressy/ casual look. Or over a simple sundress.

I like the drape front jacket -- it wouldn't overpower the dress the way I think some of the others might. I'm wondering if a simple bolero cut jacket might work too. It would cover the arms for warmth but leave many details of the dress visible.

Anne - that dress looks so lovely on you. Love that colour. I don't know if this helps but I have found nice, inexpensive shrugs at Temt in the past. There's lots of poorly made stuff in there but the occasional gem too. Will post links if I find anything specific.

Well it has taken me a while to get back to you because as well as washing up, I was talking to Mum. I have learnt that the wedding is now going to be in a marquee, which may make it a bit warmer! (And there will be about 100 guests)

That is the next question for me to consider Angie. Lots of suggestions here to wear wedges, owing to being outside. Knowing my foot comfort requirements, I'll need not to high a heel and some sort of strap.
