Wedding guest outfit idea

I'm attending a wedding in Toronto in September, this outfit is what I manage to pull together so far, any opinions and ideas are welcome on how to still improve this outfit! Would like to add that I have a gold clutch to go with this, so any ideas on non black shoes that would go with this outfit?

I adore the frock and the shoes - separately. Personally, I think the black dress needs breaking up - with non-black shoes and bag.

Great dress and shoes! I personally like them together as I feel the retro vibes complement each other. I like the idea of gold shoes too since they'll go with your clutch.

I will keep my eyes open for a different colour shoes, that was my original plan but comfy heels are hard to find. And I really liked how the style of these went well with a lacy dress, I thought anyway.

If any of you come across any shoes that might work, please let me know!

I know it seems weird that the ones I posted are from a dance store, but dance shoes really are designed to be comfortable (unless you're a ballerina en pointe, in which case you can bleed), and I often think they have a little bit of a vintage vibe, particularly in the way the heels are sometimes shaped.
