Wedding guest low vamp/high vamp question ...

Good morning everyone! Thanks for taking the time to read this.
I was reading Angie's post with a lot of interest today as I have a similar dilemma this summer. I'm attending an outdoor afternoon wedding and have already picked out a dress. My question is: Should I stick with the classic low vamp patent peep toes (similar to ones below, only in coral to pick up the coral in the dress) or should I go a little more edgy with the high vamp sandals below (except in olive snake skin to pick up the olive in the dress)?
I'm struggling with either going matchy-matchy so it's a classic look, or going a little more modern.
Also, if you have a suggestion as to clutches, other accessories, I would be so appreciative. I usually tend towards the smaller, less obvious accesories, but often dream of going "big and bold." I don't know if I should pick out a handbag in a solid coral or something else. I don't want to end up looking like I'm making my way down "too much coral" highway.

I'd go with the high vamp sandals. I consider metallics a neutral of sorts!

What a beautiful dress!

I'm also voting for the extra excitement of the high-vamp sandal. The unexpected shape adds so much style to the outfit, and stands out just a little in the right way.

And if you're going with the olive shoe, how about a purple bag (like the colour peeking out of the background in your first photo)? Or go with coral or red for red shoes, if you decide on those.

I like the metallic high vamp shoes better than the red ones (although those are quite nice too). The dress is perfect for a summer wedding!

Well I think the red or coral shoes would be more festive. I think they cage sandals would be nice too but they just don't read as weddingy or dressy to me.

How dressy is the wedding? Brown/khaki shoes would not fly for a wedding in my culture.

I love the metallic too! It will make a real statement with the dress.I also like the idea of a coral or tomato red clutch, not too big, just enough to add a little hit of colour. What a super choice you've made for the dress - it looks lovely on you!

Check out whether you're going to be on the grass. You'll sink in if the heels are thin.

That dress is gorgeous and looks fantastic on you. I like the peep toes for the colour, it looks more cheerful to me. For the bag I think I would go metallic or try to pick up one of the other colours in the dress. Do I spy olive?

Thanks so much for the replies (and compliments)! You really a wonderfully supportive group!
The wedding ceremony will be outside in a golf course with a reception following immediately inside. I never considered the heel potentially sinking in to the ground - thanks for the heads up Vildy!
I'm thinking based on your responses that I should go for either a colored shoe or a colored bag - not both. Yes, the dress does have olive as well, Emily.
Many things to consider. I will post a more finished pic when I get everything together.

Vildy beat me to it. I would also look for a shoe with a less pointy heel, because they're hard to wear on lawns, etc.

Well, I like the red shoes, only because a low vamp is elongating for the leg (IMHO) and I have short legs. lol
