Wedding Dress for casual wedding

I am getting married soon in a very small, casual ceremony.

I am trying to choose between two dresses (see links).

The white one is good because it is white, and more traditional in that way. But, it also feels sort of "officey" (boring?) to me, if that makes sense. And the material is thin and sort of sheer at the bottom (I would have to wear a slip). The other one is sort of fun and cute, but obviously not white.

thoughts?

Those are both really lovely, and have two completely different vibes to them. I know you said small and casual, but if you could, can we have a few more details? Court room or beach? What is the groom wearing? Are you going out to dinner afterwards, and if so, do you want people to look at you and think "bride!"

It will be in a nice restaurant (private room) with just close family, followed by dinner. The groom will wear a nice suit. I don't care if strangers know I'm the bride.

I like the first one better. The white one is gorgeous, but if you think it might be a bit boring, then I say that is not how one should feel on their wedding day. The first one has this sort of magical look to it. Classy magical, not "I've dressed up for the midnight showing of Harry Potter" magical. Not that there's anything wrong with that.
So the fun part....what about shoes and stuff!!

Both are lovely! The first one is more romantic, though, so if that appeals to you then I'd go there. If you're more of a minimalist - which I suspect you are not - then #2 is fab.

I can't see "officey" in the white one at all but if you feel that way I don't think you would be happy in it. It's such a personal decision on what to wear for your own wedding. You look fantastic in both dresses.

I love this kind of problem. You look gorgeous in both! I think you need to decide what kind of vibe you want. The lace one is so romantic and sweet, and the white one is very elegant and classy. You could spice up the white one with glitzy heels and statement earrings, if that's your thing.

I decided on the white one and just got a slip for the sheerness issue. The other one was pretty but I decided the white one was more "wedding appropriate" and simple, and the photos will look a lot nicer.
