how are you wearing socks in the colder months? We are having the coldest and rainiest winter in about 4 years. Over the holidays I wore pumps with crops and bare legs. This was OK as I was mostly indoors. Then when it was colder I wore crops with higher shaft booties so no skin showed. This would have been fine if the crops would have stayed put. But the riding up when I sat put an end to that. Now I wear longer calf tighter type pants and jeans with all the booties, and am mostly wearing socks in the same color as the booties. This is what I will be doing as long as we have the cold and rain. For really casual dressing I am wearing my heavier colorful or stripe socks with sneakers and ankle booties and letting them show. I will be wearing a dress next week to a function and will wear semi opaque tights with higher heel pumps. Other option is wearing tall boots with skinnies. We need the rain and mostly I am enjoying the cold as I am getting out sweaters that have hardly seen the light of day for a long while.
